TMF Finance collaborates with several lenders who specialise in loans for transportable homes and portable buildings. The interest rates and terms are determined by these lenders after reviewing your credit history, employment stability, and other key factors.
Interest rates generally range from 10.95% to 15.95% per annum. The specific rate you receive will be based on your credit profile, the security you provide, and other factors determined by the lender.
All loans require security, as unsecured loans are no longer offered. Transportable homes or portable buildings themselves are not accepted as security, so you’ll need to provide alternative security, such as real estate or other assets of value.
When you’re ready to proceed, you will need to provide the following information:

A utility bill, bank statement, or other official document verifying your address.
A scan of your driver’s licence (front and back) or New Zealand Passport.
The last three months of bank statements. You can securely submit these via the Illion bank link provided by TMF Finance.
TMF Finance uses ProvisoIllion, New Zealand’s leading credit agency, to securely retrieve your bank statements and verify your income and expenses. This ensures compliance with the Responsible Lending Act and confirms that your loan repayments are affordable.
If you prefer not to use this service, you may manually upload or email your bank statements, though this may slow down the loan approval process.
